The FAIRTIQ app can be used for journeys throughout Switzerland. It is valid for the entire route covered by the General Pass. This means that users no longer have to worry about different fare systems.

Tap “Start” when you get on and “Stop” when you get off – and that’s it! The route you have travelled is automatically recognised by geolocation, calculated and then accounted for by the relevant means of payment. You only pay for the ticket at the end of your journey. And if you forget to press “Stop” when you get off, you will automatically receive a reminder.

If you travel with FAIRTIQ, you will save time and money. You will automatically be charged the best price for the day. If the value of your single ticket exceeds the price of a day pass, you will only pay the cheapest fare later.

New: Smart Stop
Have you forgotten to finish your journey in the FAIRTIQ app? The new Smart Stop feature solves this problem in the future and will automatically complete your journey! How does it work? Thanks to improved journey recognition, Smart Stop signals when you are no longer travelling by public transport but have not finished your journey. The service reminds you to check out and, after a certain period, removes it. But don’t worry: the journey ends only when the journey is actually over and you get away from public transport – you can still change trains.

Buying a bus or train ticket can be particularly inconvenient. Or easier than ever: just like now with FAIRTIQ! Tap “Start” when you get on and “Stop” when you get off – and it’s done!

Prima della partenza
Per poter usare l’app, è necessario registrarsi una prima volta. In fase di registrazione è possibile fissare le proprie preferenze in merito al metà-prezzo e alla classe. Se quando si inizia il viaggio il luogo di partenza viene rilevato tramite la localizzazione, è sufficiente sfiorare il cellulare per avviare l’app. Il colore dell’app passa da rosso a verde.
Durante il viaggio
In caso di controllo, è sufficiente selezionare sul proprio smartphone «show ticket». Il controllore può leggere direttamente il codice del biglietto visualizzato. Durante il viaggio lo smartphone può essere utilizzato per altri servizi.
Dopo il viaggio
Alla fine del viaggio, si esce dall’app sfiorandola nuovamente. Il colore dello schermo passa al rosso e vengono calcolati i costi di viaggio. FAIRTIQ ricorda di effettuare il check-out se lo si dimentica. Dopo il viaggio, l’app calcola automaticamente il miglior prezzo del giorno, cioè al massimo il prezzo di una carta giornaliera, quindi un biglietto equo.

Validità
