Lines 7 and 311: stop relocations due to accessibility (LDis) works
From Monday 8 June 2026 and Tuesday 9 June 2026, services on lines 7 and 311 will be affected by works related to accessibility adjustments (LDis).

- from Monday 8 June 2026, from 07:30 until further notice
- the stops Gordola, Gnesa, in both directions, will be temporarily moved by approx. 60 metres towards Riazzino

- from Tuesday 9 June 2026, from 07:30 until further notice
- the stop Losone, Zandone will be moved to the opposite side of the road in the direction of Locarno FFS
Temporary stops will be clearly indicated on site. Passengers are advised to pay attention to signage and consult the online timetable.

Line 3: service changes in Locarno due to Street Food 2026
Due to the Street Food 2026 event, Line 3 services will be subject to changes from 2 June at 08:00 until 8 June 2026 at 18:00.
- The stop Lungolago Motta (in both directions) will be suspended
- The stop Bosco Isolino (direction Delta Maggia) will be moved by approx. 100 m to the junction with Viale dell’Isolino
- The stop Bosco Isolino (direction Locarno FFS) will be moved by approx. 40 m to the junction with Viale dell’Isolino
During the event period, delays, disruptions and route diversions are expected. Passengers are advised to plan their journey and consult the online timetable before travelling.

Line 311: relocation of Gordola Municipio stops
Until further notice, the Gordola Municipio stops are relocated as follows:
- Direction Bellinzona: stop relocated approx. 50 metres towards Tenero.
- Direction Locarno: stop relocated approx. 200 metres towards Tenero.
Passengers are kindly asked to follow the temporary signage on site.

2027 timetable project: public consultation from 22 May to 9 June 2026
From 22 May to 9 June 2026, it is possible to take part in the public consultation on the 2027 public transport timetable project.
During this phase, the new timetable project is made available to the public to collect comments, feedback and suggestions from passengers, transport companies and other stakeholders. The aim is to integrate, as far as possible, the contributions received into the final timetable, fostering constructive dialogue and helping to shape a service that better meets passengers’ needs.

Vigezzina‑Centovalli Railway: service limitations and full interruption from 13 to 20 July 2026
Due to works related to the commissioning of a new safety system, rail services on the Vigezzina‑Centovalli Railway will be subject to changes between 13 and 20 July 2026.

From 13 to 19 July 2026, regional train services will be limited to the Locarno – Intragna section.
The Intragna – Camedo section will be served by a replacement bus service. International services will operate regularly.Ticket purchase remains unchanged and can be made at ticket offices or online.
At Intragna station, passengers are requested to disembark and continue their journey using the replacement bus available outside the station. -
On Monday, 20 July 2026, the Locarno – Camedo section will be completely closed to rail traffic.
Services will be fully replaced by buses:- between Locarno and Camedo for regional trains
- via Brissago – Cannobio for international trains
On the same day, regional train services between Domodossola and Re will operate normally by rail.
From Tuesday, 21 July 2026 at the start of service, train operations will resume normally. Passengers are advised to allow extra travel time and to consult the online timetable before travelling.

Line 1: relocation and cancellation of stops in Minusio due to accessibility works
From Monday, 27 April 2026, starting at 07:30, services on Line 1 in Minusio will be affected by a disruption due to accessibility upgrading works (Disability Act compliance).
During the works, the following changes will apply:

the stops Minusio, Piazza in both directions will be temporarily relocated by approx. 30–50 metres

the stop Minusio, Crocifisso in the direction of Gordola will be cancelled. The nearest alternative stops will be Minusio, Remorino and Minusio, Piazza.
Temporary stops will be clearly indicated on site. Passengers are advised to pay attention to signage and consult the online timetable.

Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway: closure of the waiting room – Verdasio Station
FART informs its valued passengers that, from Monday 20 October 2025 (after the last train on Sunday 19 October), the waiting room at Verdasio Station will not be accessible to the public.
The closure is necessary for the renewal of the safety system. With the upcoming adaptation of the station to the Disability Act (project pending approval), new waiting shelters will be installed.

Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway: work to adapt stations to the LDis (Disabled Persons Act)
The FARTs informs the respectable users that as part of the work to adapt the stations to the Disabled Persons Act (LDis):
- The Ponte Brolla train station is closed to the public until further notice. The station is served by Line 315 of the FART Autolinee. More information
- Palagnedra and Corcapolo train stations are closed to the public until further notice.
- The stops will be served by a replacement bus service operating between Intragna and Camedo. Seats are limited and cannot be reserved. Longer travel times are to be expected. More information.
- Trains will run regularly, serving stops in Intragna, Verdasio and Camedo.

Line 4 and 312: stop cancellation due to works
FART informs the respectable users that, due to works, the stop Muralto, Casa S. Agnese direction Locarno FFS is discontinued until further notice. We invite you to use the nearest stops: Muralto, Symposium and Muralto, Residenza Montana.
