Route 312: Temporary service modifications
Due to roadworks, Route 312 will be subject to temporary service changes on Monday 05.10.2026 and Tuesday 06.10.2026.
Monday 05.10.2026 and Tuesday evening 06.10.2026
- Service 225 (departure at 19:45 from Locarno, Rotonda) will operate only as far as Brione, ai Fanghi. Passengers travelling to Contra and Mergoscia will need to cross the construction area on foot and continue their journey with a replacement bus operating via Tenero – Contra – Mergoscia.
- Service 226 (departure at 20:36 from Mergoscia) will operate via Tenero – Minusio – Locarno. The service from Brione, ai Fanghi to Locarno will operate as usual.
Tuesday 06.10.2026 and Wednesday morning 07.10.2026
- Service 201 (departure at 04:56 from Locarno, Rotonda) will operate only as far as Brione, ai Fanghi. Passengers travelling to Contra and Mergoscia will need to cross the construction area on foot and continue their journey with a replacement bus operating via Tenero – Contra – Mergoscia.
- Service 202 (departure at 05:36 from Mergoscia) will operate via Tenero – Minusio – Locarno. The service from Brione, ai Fanghi to Locarno will operate as usual.
Passengers are advised to allow for longer travel times and to plan their journeys in advance. Please also pay attention to the temporary signage displayed on site. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank passengers for their understanding.

Route 315: Service limited during evening hours
Due to roadworks in the narrow section before the bridge in Bignasco, from Monday, 05.10.2026 to Friday, 09.10.2026, every evening from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am, Route 315 will terminate at the Bignasco stop.
No replacement transport service will be provided during the works.
Passengers are kindly requested to plan their journeys accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Centovalli Railway: Night works along the railway line
In order to ensure safe, reliable and punctual rail operations in the future, various night works will be carried out along the Centovalli Railway from 04.10.2026 to 23.12.2026, generally between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am.
From Sunday 04.10 to Saturday 28.11.2026 (San Martino – Ponte Brolla section and Sabbioni area, Cavigliano)
- Renewal of the railway infrastructure, including the unloading and distribution of ballast using railway maintenance vehicles.
- Overhead contact line works at Ponte Brolla station, including the installation of new poles and the transfer of the overhead line to the new infrastructure.
- Stabilization and maintenance works on the rock face adjacent to platform 2 at Ponte Brolla station.
- Removal of the construction crane during two dedicated nights.
From Monday 12.10 until mid-December 2026 (Ponte Brolla – Intragna section)
- Track maintenance works, including the targeted replacement of worn rails and the transport of railway materials along the affected section.
From Thursday 17.12 to Wednesday 23.12.2026 (San Martino – Intragna section)
- Rail grinding works using a bimodal maintenance vehicle and related movements to and from the work sites.
Some activities will require the use of railway machinery and construction equipment during nighttime hours and may generate temporary noise emissions. All reasonably practicable measures will be taken to minimize disturbance.
The work schedule may be modified due to weather conditions or operational requirements. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank the population for their understanding.

Route 7: Bus stops relocated
Due to accessibility upgrade works in accordance with the Disability Equality Act (LDis), the Losone, Caserma stop (towards Losone, Zandone) and the Losone, Caserma stop (towards Locarno Stazione) will be temporarily relocated to the main road from Monday, 20.07.2026 at 09:00, until further notice. Passengers are kindly requested to follow the temporary signage on site.

The Ponte Brolla stop (towards Intragna) will be temporarily relocated approximately 150 metres towards Intragna, beyond the bridge, starting from Thursday, 16 July 2026.

Due to ongoing road works, the Gordola, Municipio stop (towards Locarno) has been temporarily relocated approximately 50 metres towards Riazzino.

The Bellinzona, Viale Portone stop (direction Piazza Orico) is relocated by approximately 50 metres due to construction works until 09.07.2026, 01:00.
Passengers are requested to follow the temporary signage on site.

Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway: closure of the waiting room – Verdasio Station
FART informs its valued passengers that, from Monday 20 October 2025 (after the last train on Sunday 19 October), the waiting room at Verdasio Station will not be accessible to the public.
The closure is necessary for the renewal of the safety system. With the upcoming adaptation of the station to the Disability Act (project pending approval), new waiting shelters will be installed.
