We are working for you.

Work to adapt stations to the LDis (Disabled Persons Act).

In February 2023, work began on adapting the stations of the Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway to the LDis (Disabled Persons Act). A series of construction sites will enable the stations to accommodate disabled users in the best possible way.

The main works will involve the raising of the platforms above the current level (with the adaptation of the furnishing objects and the adaptation of the platform edges to the overall shape of the train), the creation of connection ramps with a maximum gradient of 6%, the execution of horizontal (tactile-visual lines) and vertical signage, the modernisation and extension of the information screens and the platform lighting system, the renovation of the toilets and adaptation to the LDis.
