Work to adapt stations to the LDis (Disabled Persons Act).
On Monday 13.02.2023, work began on adapting the stations of the Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway to the LDis (Disabled Persons Act). A series of works that will enable the stations to accommodate disabled users in the best possible way.
The main works will concern the raising of the platforms above the current level (with the adaptation of the furnishing objects and the adaptation of the platform edges to the train gauge), the creation of connecting ramps with a maximum gradient of 6%, the execution of horizontal (tactile-visual lines) and vertical signage, the modernisation and extension of the information screens and the platform lighting system, the renovation of the toilets and adaptation to LDis.
