Line 3: temporary route deviations and stop closures for the Locarno “Stranociada” Carnival
The FART inform its esteemed customers that, on the occasion of the “Stranociada” Carnival, Via Borghese in the Old Town of Locarno will be closed to traffic during the following periods:
- Friday, 30 January 2026, from 17:00 to 08:00 on Saturday
- Saturday, 31 January 2026, from 17:00 to 14:00 on Sunday, 1 February 2026
During these closures, the following service changes will apply on line 3:
- the S. Antonio Chiesa stop in the direction Locarno–Monti will be temporarily moved to the junction, at the provisional stop pole
- the following stops will be temporarily closed:
Muralto, Via Pioda – Locarno, S. Caterina – Locarno, Città Vecchia

Lines 7, 314 and 315: temporary route deviations for the Solduno Carnival
FART informs its valued passengers that, due to the “Carnevale Ribellonia” event, Via Franzoni in Solduno will be closed to traffic from Saturday, 7 February 2026 at 16:30 until Sunday, 8 February 2026 at 06:30. During this period, the following service adjustments will apply:
Lines 7 and 314
- The stops Cinque Vie, Sant’Antonio Stazione, Locarno in Selva, Solduno Passetto and Solduno Stazione towards Losone will be temporarily suspended.
- The stops Solduno Stazione and Solduno Passetto towards Locarno FFS will be temporarily relocated to Via Varenna.
Line 315
- Boarding and alighting will take place from the stop Sant’Antonio Stazione to Locarno Stazione in both directions.
- The stop Solduno Stazione will be moved to Via Valle Maggia, near the Raiffeisen Bank.
Passengers are advised to expect possible delays and to pay attention to temporary signage at the location. We thank our valued passengers for their understanding and apologise for any inconvenience.

Line 311: temporary relocation of the Gordola Municipio stop
FART informs its passengers that, due to a service disruption, from 12:00 noon on Monday 12 January 2026 until the end of the works, the Gordola Municipio stop on line 311, in the direction of Locarno, is temporarily relocated approximately 150 metres in the direction of Tenero Piazza.
We thank our passengers for their understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway: closure of the waiting room – Verdasio Station
FART informs its valued passengers that, from Monday 20 October 2025 (after the last train on Sunday 19 October), the waiting room at Verdasio Station will not be accessible to the public.
The closure is necessary for the renewal of the safety system. With the upcoming adaptation of the station to the Disability Act (project pending approval), new waiting shelters will be installed.

Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway: work to adapt stations to the LDis (Disabled Persons Act)
The FARTs informs the respectable users that as part of the work to adapt the stations to the Disabled Persons Act (LDis):
- The Ponte Brolla train station is closed to the public until further notice. The station is served by Line 315 of the FART Autolinee. More information
- Palagnedra and Corcapolo train stations are closed to the public until further notice.
- The stops will be served by a replacement bus service operating between Intragna and Camedo. Seats are limited and cannot be reserved. Longer travel times are to be expected. More information.
- Trains will run regularly, serving stops in Intragna, Verdasio and Camedo.

Line 4 and 312: stop cancellation due to works
FART informs the respectable users that, due to works, the stop Muralto, Casa S. Agnese direction Locarno FFS is discontinued until further notice. We invite you to use the nearest stops: Muralto, Symposium and Muralto, Residenza Montana.
