The Line 3 timetable is valid 7 days a week and runs every 30 minutes from early morning until evening and every hour after 21:00.

FART lines: service changes in Locarno due to Notte Bianca 2026
On the occasion of the Notte Bianca 2026 event on Saturday, 13 June 2026, services on FART lines will be subject to several changes in Locarno. Due to road closures and traffic restrictions, route deviations and delays are expected.

Lines 1 / 3 / 4 / 7 / 311 / 312 / 314 / 315 / 316 / 370

the stop Locarno, Centro will be moved to Via Orelli (both directions)
the stops Piazza Castello will be moved by approx. 80 metres towards Locarno, Cinque Vie (both directions)
Temporary stops will be indicated on site.

Line 3

the stops Muralto, Via Pioda, Locarno, Santa Caterina and Locarno, Città Vecchia will be suspended
the stop Locarno, Chiesa S. Antonio (direction Orselina) will be moved by approx. 30 metres, at the junction with Via ai Monti

Passengers are advised to pay attention to signage on site and to consult the online timetable for updates.

FART lines: major service disruptions due to Tour de Suisse 2026
On the occasion of the Tour de Suisse stage on Thursday, 18 June 2026, services on FART lines will be subject to major disruptions in the Locarno region due to road closures along the race route. Throughout the day, delays, service cancellations and route changes are expected on all lines. Connections will not be guaranteed and group transport cannot be ensured during the most affected time periods.

The disruptions will particularly affect the following time slots:

from 09:00 to 10:40
from 12:00 to 14:30
from 16:00 to 19:00

Special attention should also be paid to the evening period, when delays in the resumption of regular services may occur.

No major construction sites are currently planned along the Line 3 route.

Bicycle transport

Bicycle transport is authorised on all routes from Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 06.00.
to Friday, from 08.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 06.00. Saturdays,
Sundays and public holidays with no timetable restrictions.

Disabled travellers

Interchange
nodes

Interchange nodes are points where several bus lines converge or where there is also a railway stop, offering the possibility of changing means of transport. For users interested in quick connections to the station from Brione S. Minusio and vice versa, it is advisable to use Line 4. From the station, Line 4 provides a faster connection to the Lido area.
