Frequency

In the direction of Mergoscia, there is a bus every 60 minutes from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a bus every two hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In the direction of Locarno, there is a bus every 60 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and a bus every two hours between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

    Lines 1, 3, 4, 7, 311, 312, 314, 315, 316: temporary relocation of the Locarno, Piazza Castello stop (direction Tenero)
    Due to operational requirements, on Tuesday, 12 May 2026 from 07:30 until Wednesday, 13 May 2026 at 08:00, the Locarno, Piazza Castello stop in the direction of Tenero will be moved forward by approximately 20 metres.

    The temporary stop will be indicated on site. Passengers are kindly asked to pay attention to the signage.

    Lines 4 and 312: Stop suspended due to construction work
    FART informs its valued passengers that, due to construction work, the stop Muralto, Casa S. Agnese (towards Locarno FFS) is suspended until further notice.
    Passengers are kindly asked to use the nearest stops: Muralto, Simposio and Muralto, Residenza Montana.


    No major construction sites are currently planned along the Line 312 route.

    Bicycle transport

    Bicycle transport is permitted on all routes from Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 06.00. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays without time restrictions.

    The Disabled Persons Act (LDis) stipulates that from 2024, public transport must be accessible without barriers and thus, in principle, independent use by persons with disabilities. In recent years, various equipment and vehicles have been adapted to enable disabled users and users with reduced mobility to travel independently.

    Interchange
    nodes

    Interchange nodes are points where several bus lines converge or where there is also a railway stop, offering the possibility of changing means of transport. For Line 312, the terminus of Lines 3 and 4 in Brione s.. Minusio is a useful interchange node for connections with the Cinque Vie and S. Antonio areas (Line 3) and with the Lido area (Line 4).
