The route changes on Line 7 concern the section between Ponte Maggia and Caserma: the stop in Via Cesura in Losone is deleted, the Posta and Municipio stops are also served in the direction of Losone, and the new Canaa stop is planned in both directions. In Locarno, the Via Luini stop is discontinued and the new Locarno, Centro stop is planned.
Locarno - Losone
There is a bus every 15 minutes every day, including Sundays and public holidays, from the first morning run until the end of the service. From Monday to Friday there is a bus every 10 minutes during peak hours, from 6:00 to 08:30 and from 16:30 to 18:30.
The first morning services have been brought forward. The first train from Locarno, Piazza Stazione on weekdays is scheduled at 5:35 a.m. and at 6:05 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The first trains from Losone on weekdays are scheduled at 5:45 a.m. (Caserma) and 5:58 a.m. (Zandone), while on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays they are scheduled at 6:15 a.m. (Caserma) and 6:28 a.m. (Zandone). The 15-minute frequency is now guaranteed every day, including evenings.

Bicycle transport is permitted on all routes from Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 06.00. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays without time restrictions.
Interchange nodes are points where several bus lines converge or where there is also a railway stop, offering the possibility of changing means of transport. Those wishing to travel from Losone to Ascona are advised to get off at the Ponte Maggia stop and board the Line 1 bus. To reach the Lido area from Losone, the ideal interchange point is Piazza Castello from where you can take Line 4.
