The Line 3 timetable is valid 7 days a week and runs every 30 minutes from early morning until evening and every hour after 21:00.

    Line 3: disruptions due to the "Notte Bianca 2025" event
    FART informs the relevant users that, in order to allow the "Notte Bianca 2025" event to take place, from Saturday 14.06.2025 at 17:00 until Sunday 15.06.2025 at 08:00 Line 3 will undergo a disruption in operation.

    • Line 3 will be diverted from Locarno, Centro, Piazza Castello, Cinque Vie, Via R. Simen, Via Valle Maggia and then resume its scheduled route from Via ai Monti.
    • Shifted stop: the Locarno, Chiesa S. Antonio dir. Monti stop will be shifted 30 metres to the intersection for Locarno Monti, Brione s/Minusio.
    • Stops cancelled: the stops Muralto, Via Pioda, Locarno S. Caterina, Locarno, Città Vecchia will be cancelled for the duration of the event.

    No major construction sites are currently planned along the Line 3 route.

    Bicycle transport

    Bicycle transport is authorised on all routes from Monday to Friday, from 08.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 06.00.
    to Friday, from 08.00 to 16.00 and from 19.00 to 06.00. Saturdays,
    Sundays and public holidays with no timetable restrictions.

    The Disabled Persons Act (LDis) stipulates that from 2024, public transport must be accessible without barriers and thus, in principle, independent use by persons with disabilities. In recent years, various equipment and vehicles have been adapted to enable disabled users and users with reduced mobility to travel independently.

    Interchange
    nodes

    Interchange nodes are points where several bus lines converge or where there is also a railway stop, offering the possibility of changing means of transport. For users interested in quick connections to the station from Brione S. Minusio and vice versa, it is advisable to use Line 4. From the station, Line 4 provides a faster connection to the Lido area.
